6. Development fund

(1) According to the plan, the committee will have a separate fund for city development work. Which will be called Development Fund.
(2) The amount received from the following sources shall be in the development fund:-

(a) amount of donation or grant received as per rule 8,
(b) The amount earned from sale and distribution of land in accordance with rules 9, 10, 12 and 13,
(c) According to rule 14, the amount earned from the production and sale and distribution of construction materials,
(d) the amount earned from the investment of the Development Fund,
(e) Amounts earned by the Committee for providing various services,
(f) the amount of proceeds from the application fee,
(G) Funds received by the committee from other sources for city development.

(3) The amount of development fund shall be kept in Nepal Rashtra Bank or any other commercial bank.
(4) During the operation of the development fund, the committee shall use the amount of the fund for urban development work according to the plan. Also, the committee should also make efforts to increase the amount of development fund by investing to help in the city development.
